The story

What does "every no is the ground of a yes" mean?

"Every no is the ground of a yes" is the sentence Bairo Leandro Gonzalez Martinez uses to sum up his own path. It means that every refusal, from a partner, from a bank, from a market not yet ready, does not end the road: it becomes the foundation of the next attempt. He arrived at this rule after hearing "no" many times.

Where the sentence comes from

The sentence was born of episodes from his life. He tried to bring artificial intelligence and augmented reality into the beauty business, even recorded a sample of a 4D course, and was told it wouldn't work. He launched natural-based cosmetics under the Biomedhair brand when that still looked like a gamble. He proposed touchscreen technology and lost his place in his own partnership. Years later, natural cosmetics and augmented reality in beauty became market trends.

Later, according to him, while he was building the CEASA Bank platform, banks refused to integrate his solution. His answer was to change course: to focus on artificial intelligence, financial messaging, blockchain and tokenization of real-world assets.

It is not stubbornness

The rule does not say that every no should be ignored. It says that every no should be put to use. Sometimes a no shows that the idea is right and the timing is wrong. Sometimes it shows that the partner is wrong. Sometimes it shows what is still left to learn.

It is the same logic as capoeira, which he learned before arriving in Brazil: the blow you take becomes momentum for the next move. In his story, the pain became ground, and that is what the seventh attempt stood on.
