Bairo GonzalezLeandro · Martinez

Chapter 4

Every no is the ground of a yes

Natural cosmetics before the wave, and partners who pushed him out of his own idea: the pain that became the rule of Bairo Gonzalez's life.

Bairo moved to the city where his daughter was born and tried again.

This time, he went into manufacturing. He began producing cosmetics under his own brand.

The bet was clear: natural-based cosmetics, at a time when the market was looking the other way. Once again, people said it wouldn't work.

It did.

And, years later, natural cosmetics became a trend. The second time he got there before the wave. The first time he stayed in the water.

The idea they took from him

With the brand on its feet, Bairo saw the next step: touchscreen technology applied to the business. It was his idea.

The answer did not come from outside. It came from within. His partners pushed him out of the business, and the idea stayed with them.

Some defeats hurt the wallet. This one hurt somewhere else.

The ground

That was when Bairo made a discovery he still carries today. He found the pain and, instead of running from it, he made it his foundation. Not as an open wound. As ground to stand on.

And, deep down, he knew something he had not yet said out loud:

Every no is the ground of a yes.

Every closed door had left something in his hands. The course had left method. The AI idea had left an eye for the future. The cosmetics brand had left proof that he could create from nothing. And the partners had left the most expensive lesson of all: choose carefully whom you build with.

Every no had been a brick.

Reinvent

Bairo didn't wait for the wound to close. He went to work in events and digital printing. He reinvented himself once more, built up capital and, for the first time, decided to play a different position: instead of founding, investing.

He did not yet know that the next fall would be the deepest of all.
