Values

What are Bairo Gonzalez's values?

Faith, fight, grit and determination, in his words. Added to them are honor, which for him outlasts time, and truth as the rule for what gets published.

The values of Bairo Leandro Gonzalez Martinez, in his words, are faith, fight, grit and determination. He adds honor, which he considers something that outlasts time, and truth, which in the ecosystem he founded became a practical rule: call ready only what is ready. They are values forged more in the falls than in the wins.

What each value means

Faith. For Bairo, faith is trusting in something you cannot see. He says he found it again when he was broke and beaten, listening to testimonies from people who had crossed through the impossible. That is where the phrase came from that names a chapter of his story: the God of the impossible.

Fight, grit and determination. These are the values of starting over. Fight is facing what has to be faced, without outsourcing the blame. Grit is keeping going when the result has not yet appeared. Determination is holding course after every no: it is what led to the attempt he calls the seventh.

Honor and truth. In practice, honor is keeping your word, not speaking ill of those who left, and not promising what you don't control. Truth is what holds everything else up. On BTZ Chain, he describes it as the network's validator; on this site, it shows in the choice to publish only facts on the record and to label plans as plans.
