qrqbits
What is qrqbits?
The cybersecurity initiative founded by Bairo Leandro Gonzalez Martinez that protects files, images, audio and text with post-quantum cryptography.
qrqbits is a cybersecurity initiative founded by Bairo Leandro Gonzalez Martinez. It protects files, images, audio and text with layered post-quantum cryptography, that is, with algorithms designed to hold up against the quantum computers of the future as well. In the ecosystem, it is the protected exit path for information. It is in development.
What it is for
Health data, personal documents, contracts and conversations need to stay protected for many years, not just today. There is a well-known risk in information security: someone copies encrypted data now in order to try to open it in the future, when there are quantum computers capable of breaking part of today's cryptography. qrqbits' proposal is to protect today what needs to remain protected tomorrow.
In the ecosystem founded by Bairo, this applies, for example, to the records a patient keeps in their private Xperienc dashboard. In the body image he uses to describe the whole, qrqbits is the external transmission pathway: what leaves the body leaves protected.
Why this page does not explain how it works
The qrqbits technology is in the process of patent protection. Until that protection is in place, how it works is not disclosed. That is why this page speaks only of the benefit: layered protection, with post-quantum cryptography, for different types of files.
